Office of Academic Affairs emphasizes centers

One of the Provost's goals and priorities for fiscal year 2007 is to identify and enhance Academic Centers. View the 2005-2006 Program Planning and Budget Presentation.

The work of the College of Education is extended through service, academic, and research centers as well as through special initiatives. The service center provide access points for teacher education students and professionals to gain information regarding programs and certification procedures. The five Illinois Board of Higher Education-approved academic centers conduct research and perform public service activities on current and emerging education issues. The research centers and initiatives enhance the work of the College through engagement and entrenchment in programs and partnerships.
