Student Teaching

Student teaching is the component of the teacher education program that requires teacher candidates to be responsible for guiding, directing and evaluating the learning activities of a group of pupils under the guidance and supervision of professionally certified and competent members of the teaching profession. Questions regarding specific policies and requirements for the student teaching experience should be directed to the Office of Clinical Experiences and Certification Processes and the major departments.

Follow the directions corresponding to your major for student teaching application process. Note: You must meet all the PBA requirements before you can start student teaching.
