Spring Window Closed for 2009-2010 Illinois First-Time Candidates

 

The Spring Window closed for the Illinois Candidate Fee Subsidy on May 31, 2009.  The Illinois State Board of Education is pleased to announce that ISBE approved 1,338 candidates.  These candidates are on the approved list.

 

Waiting List for the Illinois Candidate Fee Subsidy

Candidates on the waiting list should not pay the $500 fee to NBPTS until they see their name on the approved list.

 

If there is additional funding or candidates do not pay their initial $500 fee to NBPTS, candidates from the waiting list will be added to the approved list in the order their application was received by the NBRC. These candidates will be notified by an email and may view their name on the approved list.  They will have two weeks to make the $500 payment after they see their name on the approved list. 

 

Approved List for the Illinois Candidate Fee Subsidy

Names of candidates who are approved to receive the $2,000 IL Candidate Fee Subsidy will be added to the Approved List  Once candidates see their name on the Approved List, they should return to NBPTS and pay the $500 within 2 weeks.
